Sandu: corrupt forces and special services of the Russian Federation are purposefully destabilizing the country

The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, said that the political parties, which have now started protests, are working together with the special services of the Russian Federation to destabilize the situation in Moldova. She said this in an interview with the Romanian Digi24.

The president noted that attempts by Russia to interfere in the political life of Moldova are not something new, and the Russian special services are also behind the latest protests by pro-Russian police forces.

"We have evidence that the coalition of corrupt groups that stole a lot of money from Moldova, and the Russian special services, pro-Russian parties in Moldova, all have a common goal - to destabilize Moldova. They are using the difficulties faced by the citizens to their advantage. We are determined . to defend democracy," Maya Sandu said.

As you know, the populist party "Shor" has been actively conducting anti-government protests in Moldova for the past few weeks, probably with the financial support of the Russian Federation.
