Gerus named the regions with the most acute shortage of electricity

The most difficult situation with the energy system after the Russian missile attacks is in the center and east of Ukraine. At the same time, system recovery continues successfully. Today, November 22, the chairman of the committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on energy and housing and communal services, Andrii Gerus, told about it on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel. He noted that, in general, the situation in the regions is not tense. There are some special moments somewhere, report FREEDOM.

"For example, there was an accident in the networks of Khmelnytskyi region, so there was a problem there on a separate day, and there was more of a lack of electricity. But if we take it as a whole, then, in principle, probably Kyiv, the Kyiv region and the east, northeast of the country are the most difficult regions where there is a shortage of electricity. Because in addition to the capacity shortage, there are also network problems related to substations. Therefore, probably the most difficult situation is the center and east of the country. But, in general and in general, the most important thing is that the problems that arose immediately after the missile strikes, they were solved by some detours," Gerus said.
