Ukrenergo: there are almost no undamaged TPPs and HPPs left in Ukraine

Chairman of the board of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, said that as a result of massive strikes on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, almost all of the country's thermal power plants and large hydroelectric power stations were damaged. He informed about this during the briefing.

"After the last attack, we have almost no undamaged thermal and hydropower plants left. So that you understand the scale of these attacks and what we have to work with: almost all thermal and hydrogen generation, if we are talking about large power plants, were damaged, were hit by rockets," said Kudrytskyi.

According to him, there are almost no undamaged nodal substations of Ukrenergo. The leader also said that the sixth large-scale attack on the Ukrainian power system last week was the largest since the beginning of the war.

Kudrytskyi reported that the Russian army fired about 100 heavy rockets, which hit mainly the Ukrenergo substation and the power plant. At the same time, 15 objects of the company with complex and high-tech equipment were damaged.

"Practically, unfortunately, something has already arrived at every important substation, while at some substations - several times: three, five and even eight times, there are such objects. Therefore, the scale of the destruction is colossal," said the head of the company.
