The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in an interview with the German TV channel ARD, called for more air defense equipment to be provided to Ukraine in order to be able to defend itself against Russian attacks.

 "It's about protecting the sky. We really want to open a new page in this war, in this defense. We want the Russians to have no control over our airspace," Zelenskyі said.

 At the same time, the president thanked Germany for the support and military assistance provided by the federal government since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
