Russian troops resorted to an attack in the Siversky direction, but the Ukrainian border guards repulsed it. The enemy retreated, suffering losses.

 "Yesterday, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the strongholds of the border guards in the Siversk direction. And after dusk, the enemy intelligence tried to covertly overcome the Ukrainian defense line. The occupiers were discovered. A battle ensued, after which the intelligence officers retreated," the message says.

 In addition, at night, the enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance by fighting in the direction of the positions of Ukrainian fighters, but was unsuccessful and retreated.

 We will remind that the occupiers tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces near Bakhmut, but suffered losses.
