An attacker was caught in Georgia who took hostages in a bank 2 years ago and demanded $500,000

Law enforcement officers detained a man accused of taking hostages at a bank branch in Zugdida in 2020.

 The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that a man named Badri Esebua - a former military man - was detained in the west of the country, his firearms and ammunition were seized and he was placed in the pre-trial detention center in Kutaisi.
