More than 8,000 Ukrainians have applied to the "Offensive Guard", says Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko

Ihor Klymenko said that more than 8,000 volunteers applied for the "Offensive Guard". This is what Klymenko said on the air of the telethon

"In total, more than 8,000 volunteers have applied to the "Offensive Guard" to date. All of them will undergo interviews and checks. The largest number of volunteers signed up for the National Guard, but there are also more brigades. The National Guard has six brigades, the National Police - one and so far one - in the State Border Service.

The set will last 60 days. This is not a constant process, we conduct an interview, a military medical examination, check his physical and mental abilities and conduct special checks with each volunteer. Since those persons who go to the service cannot have criminal records," the minister emphasized.

According to Klymenko, if a volunteer chooses intelligence, he will be tested, if a mortar unit, he will learn how to fire a mortar. He emphasized that the "Offensive Guard" will be focused on liberating the territory: "We will work on the offensive. While the Armed Forces defend the borders, we are preparing to liberate our territories."
