The head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian. In particular, the EU official called to stop supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine.

 Borrell wrote about this on Twitter.

 The head of EU diplomacy said that he condemned the execution of Swedish-Iranian dissident Habib Chaab and asked not to execute German-Iranian citizen Jamshid Sharmakhd.

 At the same time, Borrell supported Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

 "I emphasized that Iran should continue this cooperation, stop supporting Russia's war against Ukraine and stop using EU citizens for its political interests," Borrell said.
