The Armed Forces destroyed several warehouses and bases of Russians near Mariupol, - the city council

For a long time, the occupiers considered Mariupol, which is 80 km from the front line, to be a rear. However, the situation has changed.

This was reported by the Mariupol City Council in Telegram.

"The number of strikes on bases of the Russian occupiers in the direction of Mariupol is increasing. The other day there were explosions in Mariupol and the surrounding area," the report says.

In particular, according to preliminary data, strikes were carried out in Yuryivka, Nikolsky, and Urzuf. BC warehouses and Russian bases are located here.

"Recently, the occupiers considered these settlements to be rear areas, but the situation is changing," the city council added.

Mariupol is located at a distance of at least 80 km from the front line. Note that Ukraine received Storm Shadow missiles with a range of over 250 km from Britain. At the end of May, they hit 100% of the targets set by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Now the occupiers use Mariupol as their military base, especially the port. However, explosions have become more frequent in Mariupol recently. In particular, on May 19 in the area of the Mariupol Airport, and on May 26 - at Azovstal.
