The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has issued a wanted list for American Republican Senator Lindsey Graham because of his alleged phrase during a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyі, about the "deaths of Russians".

 The meeting between Graham and Zelensky took place on May 26. In a video released by the Office of the President, Graham accepted Zelenskyі's praise for $38 billion in U.S. military aid since the start of a full-scale invasion of Russia in February 2022.

 Graham called American aid "the best money we've ever spent." He said he was visiting Ukraine on the 457th day of the war, and that Ukrainians resisting the invasion reminded him of "our best American boys." "There was a time in America when we were the same - we fought to the last, we were going to be free or die," Graham said.

 "Now you are free," Zelensky answered during the meeting, "and we will be." To which Graham replied: "And the Russians are dying." Zelenskyі added: "Yes, but they came to our territory. We are not fighting on their territory."

 Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov and other Russian officials linked Graham's praise of the benefits of American aid to his comments about Russian deaths in the war.

 In a Reuters comment, Graham responded to the criticism, noting that "as always, the Russian propaganda machine is stubbornly working."

 According to Graham, he told Zelenskyі that Ukraine adopted the American mantra "Live free or die." "It was a good investment by the United States to help free Ukraine from Russian war criminals," the senator emphasized.
