 The Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression and use terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine.

 This day, at night, the enemy once again launched a massive air and missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, in particular on Kyiv. He used attack UAVs and cruise missiles, but they were all destroyed in the sky.

 In general, during the day, the enemy carried out 62 air strikes and 15 missile strikes, carried out about 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

 The probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.

 The situation at the fronts

 The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

 During the day, the occupiers launched 15 attacks, but all of them were repulsed by units of the defense forces.

 In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.

 In the Siver and Slobozhan areas, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. Conducted an airstrike in the Ohirtseve district of the Kharkiv region.

 Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of Yanzhulivka and Leonivka settlements of Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Romashkove, Atynske, Yunakivka of the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Veterinarne, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Pilna, Zelene, Verkhnya Pisarivka, Staritsa, Okhirtseve, Gatishche, Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Zybine, Rybalkine, Budarki, Zemlianki, Chugunivka , Odradne in the Kharkiv region.

 During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Novoselivskyi, Luhansk region, in the Kupyansk direction.

 Topoli, Dvorichanske, Kamianka, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Kutkivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Kotlyarivka, Berestov in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

 During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensives in the Lymansky direction in the area of Makiivka, Luhansk region, and Spirnyi, Donetsk region.

He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirnyi, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

 In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar districts of the Donetsk region.

 Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanovske, Predtechine, Bila Gora and New York of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

 The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Avdiyiv direction. He carried out airstrikes in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region.

 He carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka.

 In the Marinka direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the area of the city of Marinka, however, our defenders repelled all 8 enemy attacks. Estimated losses of the enemy were up to 10 dead and about 20 wounded.

 In addition, 2 units of enemy vehicles were destroyed. At the same time, the enemy continues to destroy our cities and villages, carried out an airstrike on Marinka, carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

 In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Vugledar, Prechistivka, and Novoukrayinka.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhуа and Kherson directions. He carried out airstrikes in Olhivske and Novodanilivka districts of Zaporizhzhуа region, as well as Kozatske and Odradokamyanka of Kherson region.

 He carried out artillery shelling of Vremivka settlements in the Donetsk region; Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka of the Zaporizhzhуа region, as well as the city of Kherson.

 Emergency events

 The military leadership of the Russian Federation made a decision to strengthen the state border by cadets of higher military educational institutions.

 So, on May 31, about 200 third-year cadets armed with small arms and grenade launchers have already been sent to the western border of the Russian Federation under the pretext of training.

 During the day, the aviation of the defense forces made 8 strikes on the areas of personnel concentration, as well as 2 - on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.
