Ex-Polish government's plan in case of Russian attack caused a scandal

The former Polish government planned to occupy half the country in the event of a Russian attack. This plan was approved in 2011. This was reported by the Polish ruling "Law and Justice' party on Twitter, citing a video in which current Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak claims that the plan was approved in 2011 by former Defense Minister Bogdan Klich.

According to this plan, Poland's independent defense was supposed to last no more than two weeks, after which the enemy would reach the right bank of the Vistula River, which runs through the center of the country, including Warsaw.

The video also features photographs of fragments of the country's defense plan, and former Polish General Mirosław Różanski confirmed their authenticity.

Blaszczak accused the former ruling "Civic Platform" party of trying to hand over part of Poland to the enemy and create situations similar to those in the cities of Bucha and Irpin, as well as in frontline Warsaw.
