Russia has been attacking Ukraine's energy facilities for two weeks, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at the Regional Economic Forum.
"We understand that the stage of energy terror in this heating season has already begun. We see this in the destruction of infrastructure, production, pumping, and storage of fuel. We see it in the first attacks on regional power substations in the last two weeks," Shmyhal said at the regional economic forum.
According to him, so far Ukraine has not felt these blows because it is better prepared for them than a year ago.
"We are much more prepared and stronger than we were last year. I am convinced that we will get through this difficult winter together. It will definitely be a difficult winter, it will not be easier, but we are definitely better prepared for it," the Prime Minister said.
It should be noted that Ukrenergo reported that yesterday there were the first attacks on energy facilities in the last six months.
