Ukraine wants Western analogs of Kalibr and X-101 cruise missiles - Economist

Ukraine uses cruise missiles in its operations against the invaders, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also expressed interest in obtaining additional Western analogs of Russian Kalibr and X-101 missiles. This was reported by The Economist.

The publication clarifies that Ukraine already has new missiles, including the supply of Storm Shadow/Scalp cruise missiles from the UK and France, as well as a new version of the Neptune surface-to-surface missile.

A source from Ukraine's General Staff told the publication that the big change was the emergence of new missiles and reconnaissance equipment.

"As soon as we have a goal and we can achieve it, we do exactly that. Other cruise missiles are under development," the General Staff representative added.
