Residents of the left bank of the Kherson region were urged to evacuate to the territory controlled by Ukraine. The head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this on Telegram.

He noted that while the Armed Forces of Ukraine are making superhuman efforts to liberate the occupied part of the region from Russian troops, residents of the left bank should take care of their own safety.

"You are a human shield for the Russian army. The occupiers are using despicable tactics because they know that the Ukrainian army will not fight its own people. Therefore, please temporarily leave the communities that are on the line of fire or evacuate to the government-controlled territory," Prokudin emphasized.
