US Ambassador Bridget Brink officially conveyed Washington's reform proposals to the Ukrainian side. In turn, Kyiv presented its vision on this issue to the United States. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram.
The Prime Minister noted that the United States presented the Concept for Strengthening the Resilience of Democracy in Ukraine, which was developed on the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky and agreed with the heads of anti-corruption structures in Ukraine.
In addition, Shmyhal announced Ukraine's plans to create a single Reform Plan to strengthen the resilience of democracy together with all partners, which will include any needs for positive changes in various areas.
For her part, Bridget Brink officially presented the United States' proposals for reforms in Ukraine for further discussion.
Shmyhal emphasized the importance of reforms that change Ukraine for the better and bring it closer to joining the European Union and NATO.
He also discussed with the US Ambassador direct budget support, cooperation within the Donor Coordination Platform, strengthening the defense of Ukraine's sky, and assistance to Ukraine's energy sector.
