UN field team goes to Hroza village to gather information on missile attack

The UN has sent a field team to the village of Hroza, where more than 50 people were killed by a Russian missile strike. This was reported by the press secretary of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Elizabeth Trossell.

According to her, a UN field team was sent to Hroza to verify the Russian attack.

"The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk, who has seen the horrific consequences of such strikes with his own eyes, is deeply shocked and condemns these killings," Trossell said.

She noted that this is one of the deadliest strikes in the great war.

"Dozens have been killed, including a child. Our human rights monitors will visit the site to gather information. Accountability is key. The field team will talk to survivors and gather additional information," the official summarized.
