The Georgian parliament held a vote on October 18 and failed to impeach President Salome Zurabishvili. This is reported by the News Georgia.

Only 86 deputies voted for Salome Zurabishvili's resignation, while at least 100 votes were required.


Thus, Salome Zurabishvili remains the President of Georgia.
