Ukraine cannot shoot down ballistic missiles in all directions, - Ihnat

The Ukrainian military is unable to shoot down enemy's Iskander and Kinzhal ballistic missiles in all directions. The main reason for this is the lack of means. This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.

He commented on today's Russian attack, during which the enemy used ballistic missiles, among other things.

"As for the number of targets downed, we need to understand that ballistics is ballistics, and to shoot it down we need means, which, unfortunately, we do not have enough. We need Patriots that can handle both the Kinzhal and Iskanders. This was demonstrated in the Kyiv region," Ihnat said.

The speaker added that Ukraine's air defense is being strengthened by Western weapons, but it does not yet cover all areas from possible enemy attacks.
