On October 19, 90 combat engagements took place in all areas of the frontline. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page. The day before, there were about 80 attacks.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Grouping in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled more than 30 enemy attacks near the towns of Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv region, as well as 12 attacks near Nadiya in Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy tried in vain to regain lost ground near Klishchiivka in Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Brigade, the enemy has resumed offensive actions and continues to try to surround Avdiivka. Russian offensives in the areas of Novokalynove, Stepove and Siverne in Donetsk region also failed.

In addition, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Maryinka, Donetsk region. The Defense Forces repelled 16 attacks there.

In the mining sector, Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Zolota Niva and Staromayorske in Donetsk region. In the Zaporizhzhya direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces held their positions near Verbove in Zaporizhzhya region.
