President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted the holding of a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff and the discussion of important aspects of security in the Black Sea. In a Telegram message, the President noted that this meeting was especially relevant on the International Day of the Black Sea.
The meeting discussed various aspects of security in the region, including problems with peaceful navigation, protection of the "grain corridor" and the decline in the capabilities of the Russian navy.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the Ukrainian Navy, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
In addition, the participants discussed the protection of people, energy facilities, port infrastructure, and strengthening the air defense system in the Odesa region.
The situation at the frontline in different parts of Ukraine was also discussed at the meeting.
"Increasing domestic production of artillery systems and artillery shells of NATO standard. Supply schedules from partners. Reports of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov and the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Kamyshyn," Zelensky summarized.
