Government changed rules for exporting agricultural products under martial law

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved Resolution No. 1132 "On the Implementation of a Pilot Project for the Verification of Agricultural Entities under Martial Law," which changes the rules for the export of agricultural products. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.


This initiative aims to prevent abuses and violations of the law during the export of agricultural products and to protect the rights of entrepreneurs who comply with export laws.


As part of the pilot project, a list of verified agricultural entities will be created that will be entitled to export goods, including grains, oilseeds, and processed products.


"To be included in the list of exporters, an entrepreneur must meet the following criteria: be a VAT payer at the time of submitting an export application and as of February 23, 2022; have no tax debt on the return of foreign currency earnings; the State Tax Service has not drawn up an act of absence at the place of legal registration during the verification of compliance with currency legislation; the entrepreneur has documentary evidence from the bank with which he works that from February 23, 2022 to October 27, 2023, he has carried out at least one successful export operation that resulted in the return of foreign currency earnings," the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized.


This measure is aimed at improving control and regulation of agricultural exports under martial law.
