President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has changed the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. The President signed the decree today, November 7. This was reported on the website of the President's Office.
The staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff included a new commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Lupanchuk, who was appointed on November 3 after Viktor Khorenko was dismissed from this position.
The latter was also removed from the Stavka by Decree No. 736/2023.
"In accordance with Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Defense of Ukraine", based on the proposal of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, I hereby decree... to introduce to the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Lupanchuk Serhiy Konstantynovich - Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; to remove from the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Khorenko V.," the publication says.
It is also noted that the relevant decree comes into force on the day of its publication.
