Yermak: Counteroffensive continues, Ukrainian Armed Forces seize bridgehead on the left bank of Dnipro

The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, speaking at the American non-governmental analytical center Hudson Institute, said that the Defense Forces had taken and are holding a "bridgehead" on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

"We are firmly committed to restoring Ukraine's sovereignty over all of its internationally recognized territory. Against all odds, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have seized a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Step by step, they are demilitarizing Crimea," Yermak said.

According to him, the Defense Forces continue their counteroffensive: "We have covered 70% of the distance. And our counteroffensive continues. We know how to achieve victory. President Zelensky has a clear plan."

Both Ukrainian and Russian media, as well as the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), report that the Defense Forces have managed to gain a foothold in the area of Krynky. Officially, the leadership of the Armed Forces does not comment on this, stating only that the combat work of the Defense Forces continues, and that media attention to the fighting there only harms.
