Ermak discussed the situation at the front with advisors to the leaders of the USA, Great Britain, Germany and France

During his working visit to the United States, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with advisers to the leaders of the United States, Great Britain, Germany and France. This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Yermak thanked his interlocutors for participating in meetings of national security and political advisers in Malta, Jeddah and Copenhagen.

The parties also discussed the situation on the battlefield.

According to the head of the Presidential Office, the Ukrainian army has already liberated about 50% of the previously occupied territories, but the number of Russian troops in Ukraine is now three times higher than at the beginning of the aggression, so our country needs the support of the international community.

In addition, the meeting discussed the protection of the "grain corridor" in the Black Sea. Despite numerous Russian air strikes on Ukrainian port infrastructure, the corridor continues to operate thanks to cooperation with Ukraine's partners, primarily from the Black Sea region.

"Dozens of ships have already passed through this route, which has helped reduce threats to food security in the world. However, we need additional air defense systems to protect and ensure the operation of the grain corridor," he added.

The parties also discussed the conclusion of bilateral agreements on security guarantees within the framework of the Joint Declaration on Support for Ukraine adopted by the G7 countries in Vilnius.

It was also noted that work in this context would facilitate the transition of our country's defense forces to NATO standards and Western weapons.

Advisors to the leaders of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, and France confirmed that they will support Ukraine as long as necessary to achieve a just peace.
