No one can guarantee Ukraine's accession to NATO and the prevention of future Russian aggression. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with students in Mykolaiv.
According to him, national security is a priority for Ukraine now and in the future.
"We share our experience with all partners. The country is going through a war and wants to end it so that it does not start again. And we do not know exactly how it will be. This is life and this is Russia. No one will tell you whether we will be in NATO," Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine, for its part, must do everything possible to ensure that security is at the highest level.
"We are moving towards this, according to NATO standards, and we are developing our own standards in many areas. But the fact is that the state will change and security will be a priority," the head of state added.
