On International Volunteer Day, Ukrainian MP Mariana Bezuhla suggested that all Ukrainian volunteers, including women, should be sent to the front.
Bezuhla wrote that "the best volunteering in 2024 is to join the Armed Forces." She also mentioned that she herself was mobilized in 2015.
"Dear mobilized soldiers, do you want new ones to join your unit? Do you want to be reinforced? Do you want to have a rest? And if they say, 'I'm donating / I'm a volunteer, I'm holding the front here'? That's why I wrote: the best volunteering in 2024 is to join the Armed Forces. This also applies to women," the MP said.
In the comments under the post, Ukrainians left many angry statements. In particular, they noted that many volunteers are often more effective than the state.
