Britain will provide Ukraine with two Sandown-class mine-searching ships. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.

According to London, these ships will "help save lives at sea and open up vital export routes."

The UK clarifies that Norway will join the "ship coalition".

The Sandown-class mine-searching ships can also play the role of patrol vessels. They are armed with a 30-mm cannon and five machine guns of various calibers.

They are to be purchased through the British Export Promotion Agency. It is not specified whether Ukraine will be given ready-made ships or whether they still need to be manufactured.
