Sweden agrees to transfer winter aid package worth EUR 124 million to Ukraine

Today, on December 14, the Swedish government approved the transfer of a winter aid package to Ukraine totaling 124 million euros. This was reported on Twitter (X) by the Representation of Sweden to the European Union.


 

The statement emphasizes that Ukraine is fighting the Russian occupiers not only for its survival, but also "for the security and freedom of Europe."


"This is a crucial time to support Ukraine. Today, the Swedish government approved a €124 million winter package for Ukraine for civilian infrastructure," the publication says.


Stockholm also notes that continued financial support from the European Union "is of key importance."


"Ukraine's future is in the EU," the Swedish representative office emphasized.
