Today, on December 14, the Russian army attacked Khmelnytskyi region. The occupiers used Kinzhal air defense missiles. This was announced by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.


"The missiles were launched and headed for Khmelnytskyi region, I mean Starokostiantyniv. The alert was announced at 14:09 approximately, when the signal was heard throughout Ukraine. And in fact, 10 minutes after the air alert was announced, there was an "arrival" in Khmelnytsky region," he said.


Ihnat confirmed that the Russians had struck with a Kinzhal (Dagger) aeroballistic missile. But he did not specify the consequences of the attack.


"We are not talking about the consequences, especially the work of the Kinzhal, which was an X-47 Kinzhal. Let the enemy draw their own conclusions. We will not give information on where they were aiming, whether they hit or missed," the speaker added.
