Cabinet of Ministers should have introduced draft law on mobilization today - Arakhamia

The Cabinet of Ministers was supposed to introduce a draft law on mobilization today, but this did not happen, the head of the presidential faction, David Arakhamia, said on Telegram.

"The military command has submitted a request to mobilize 500,000 soldiers. The government is developing rules. The President clearly emphasized that he requires a comprehensive approach to service in the Armed Forces. Simply recruiting new people and not solving the problems of those who are currently serving is not an option," Arakhamia wrote.

He noted that the absence of a final draft law "gives rise to uncertainty and a large number of fakes about checkpoints, "Diia", etc."

It should be noted that the President announced that the draft law with changes on mobilization will be introduced at the end of November. But nothing has been introduced since then. Only MP Bezuhla has from time to time voiced ideas that she wants to include. Also over the weekend, Defense Minister Umerov said that the bill would appear in the coming days.
