UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has condemned the deadly wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine and called on Moscow to stop the attacks "immediately". This was reported by The Guardian.


"I am shocked by another full-scale series of coordinated missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation across Ukraine last night," Türk said.


He noted that international humanitarian law clearly prohibits attacks deliberately directed at civilian objects.


"I once again cal on the Russian Federation to immediately stop its attacks on Ukraine and to strictly observe all international laws of warfare," the UN High Commissioner added.
