Combat work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Crimea: A command post was hit and the Russian defense system was damaged

As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on Russian military facilities in Sevastopol on January 4, not only was the command post hit, but the Russian defense system was seriously damaged. This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, during a telethon.

"Not only one command post was hit, but really powerful combat work took place over the past day, including serious damage to the defense system on the Crimean peninsula," said Humeniuk.

According to her, this is not the first damage that forces the Russians to seriously reformat their defense system.

"Now they are once again experiencing the same hysteria with relocation, trying to maneuver and place both the defense systems and the objects they protect in other places," the speaker noted.

Humeniuk also said that the Russian military has recently relocated launch sites for the Shahed. Previously, Cape Chauda was used mainly, but now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are recording launches from near Balaklava.

"The Defense Forces have been working in this direction so that the enemy does not feel so safe in these territories and always remembers that Crimea is Ukraine and we are fighting for it," she emphasized.

The speaker also believes that the explosions near the Crimean bridge are more of a smokescreen, "an attempt to protect this extra configuration object."

"But still, the greatest concern and fears for its fate are not unfounded - our combat work continues, there are still many objects there that we need to work on. And we will definitely inform you about each powerful result, if it is worthy of announcement," said Humeniuk.

As we reported, yesterday there were explosions in Sevastopol and Yevpatoriya.
