Estonia will increase financial support for Ukraine: details of annual aid

In addition to the 0.25% of its gross domestic product allocated for military aid to Ukraine, Estonia will annually allocate EUR 14 million to Kyiv as part of development cooperation. This was stated by Vice Chancellor of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mariin Ratnik in the ERR publication.

It is noted that out of this amount, 12.8 million euros will be transferred to the Estonian Development Cooperation Center, one million euros will be spent on humanitarian aid for Ukraine, and 200,000 euros will be allocated to support business cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine.

The main focus of the latter amount will be on establishing business ties with Ukrainian partners. These funds are to be allocated in accordance with the long-term development cooperation strategy approved by the government in January and the principles of Ukraine's recovery.
