The EU aid package for Ukraine has been approved with two conditions set by Orban. The Guardian writes about it.


According to the publication, EU leaders agreed to two compromises.


The first is that the European Commission will conduct a "spending review" in two years. There will be a separate vote on this issue.


The second is that "an additional measure was taken regarding the mechanism for imposing conditions on the rule of law."


This refers to the claims against Hungary made by Europe in 2020. The Guardian writes that EU leaders have now agreed to withdraw these claims.
