Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden threatens Russia to "neutralize" Kaliningrad

Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden Linas Linkevičius stated that if Russia challenges the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO will first of all "neutralize" Kaliningrad. The diplomat wrote about this on the social network X.

"If Russia dares to challenge the North Atlantic Alliance, Kaliningrad would be "neutralized" first," the post reads.

He also stated that after Sweden joined the alliance, the Baltic Sea became internal to NATO.

We will remind, the day before, Hungary was the last NATO member to vote in favor of Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance. Earlier, Stockholm's application to join the Western military bloc was approved by Turkey. Thus, Sweden became the 32nd member of NATO.
