Britain does not plan a "large-scale deployment of troops" in Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

"Apart from a small number of personnel who are in the country and provide support to the armed forces of Ukraine, we have no plans for a large-scale deployment," Reuters quoted him as saying.

For his part, German Defense Minister Pistorius said that the proposal to send NATO troops to Ukraine was voiced by Macron himself at yesterday's meeting of Western leaders in Paris, but no one supported it.

As a reminder, Macron announced the discussion of the possibility of sending NATO troops to Ukraine. Such plans have already been denied by NATO, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Sweden.
