Night attack on Ukraine: 33 out of 37 UAVs shot down

On the night of March 8, Russians attacked the south and east of Ukraine using one S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, two X-59 guided missiles, and 37 Shahed-type attack UAVs. This was reported on Telegram by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


The Russians launched the drones from the temporarily occupied Crimea.


The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare equipment.


As a result, 33 UAVs were shot down in Odesa and Kharkiv regions.
