The Verkhovna Rada has registered a legislative initiative aimed at amending the legislation on parole for military service under contract during a special period. This is stated in the draft law No. 11079, registered in parliament on March 13.
According to the title of the draft law, it is proposed to amend the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, and other laws related to parole for those who chose who chose to perform military service under contract during a special period.
It is noted that the text of the draft law is not yet available. The initiators of the idea are the head of the Servant of the People party Olena Shulyak, a group of MPs from the Servant of the People and a representative of the Voice faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
