Australia joins the coalition of drones for Ukraine

Australia has joined the drone coalition for Ukraine. Together with Great Britain and Latvia, Canberra will provide drones for Ukrainian troops as part of the "drone coalition" agreement. This was stated by Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles, The Guardian reports.

"Today we are also announcing that Australia will participate in the drone coalition led by the UK and Latvia," he said.

The minister noted that this is an important opportunity to continue "to contribute to efforts aimed at ensuring that Ukraine stays the course and is able to resolve this conflict on its own terms."

In addition to these countries, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, and the Netherlands have joined the drone coalition.
