Chairman of the NATO Military Committee: Decisive moment in the war has come

Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, who arrived in Kyiv, said that the war has reached a "decisive moment" and that Russia cannot be allowed to win. He said this at the Kyiv Security Forum.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin "is afraid of democracy and recognizes only the right of force, not the rule of law."

He also said that the Russian army does not know what it is fighting for: "There is no propaganda that can find answers to the questions of the families of the fallen soldiers. Just as no propaganda can hide the truth that Putin has not achieved any of his goals. And what if he had? Russian troops do not understand what they are fighting for, but you do."

The admiral emphasized that it would be a "terrible mistake" to let Putin win.

"It would be dangerous for all of us, because the outcome of this war will affect the fate of the whole world," the military leader said.
