State Department and White House state Ukraine is not involved in terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall

Ukraine is not involved in the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack. The Russians have not provided any evidence to support their version. This was stated by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller at a briefing

"There was no Ukrainian involvement in the Crocus attack - period. The Ukrainian government has made this clear, and the Russians have offered zero evidence, because there is no evidence of Ukrainian involvement," Miller said.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made a similar statement.

"ISIS is fully responsible for what happened here, and Putin understands that. We shared information about the attack with the Russian authorities. And there is no evidence that Ukraine is involved in this," said Karine Jean-Pierre.

In addition, Miller confirmed that the American side had indeed warned Russia about the possibility of terrorist attacks and would do so again if it had information about new such attacks. At the same time, he said, this does not mean that the United States is going to increase security cooperation with Russia.

"Obviously, we are not going to strengthen or enter into any security agreements with the Russian government - a government that has unprovokedly invaded one of its neighbors, killed thousands and thousands of people for no reason other than the personal conquest goals of the Russian president," Miller explained the US position.
