Budanov believes there is no threat of a Russian offensive on Kyiv from the north

The head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, has said that there is currently no threat of a Russian army offensive on Kyiv from the north. He said this during a national telethon.

According to him, there are currently no threats on the territory of Belarus.

"And we see no tendency for them to appear in the near future," Budanov said.

He noted that French President Emmanuel Macron made an assumption when he spoke about a possible Russian breakthrough to Kyiv or Odesa.

"There can be a lot of assumptions. You know, in assumptions, we can also enter Moscow now. But this is not actually the case," the intelligence officer said.
