The White House believes that Ukraine is losing ground on the frontline due to the inaction of Congress

Ukraine is losing ground on the frontline due to the inaction of Congress. This was stated by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at a briefing.

"We have seen Ukraine losing ground on the battlefield over the past few weeks, several months. And this is because of the inaction of Congress. We must continue our support, as we have been supporting Ukrainians for more than two years, as they fight for their freedom and democracy," Jean-Pierre said.

The White House spokeswoman noted that if Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson had introduced a bill on aid to Ukraine, it would have received "overwhelming support."
