German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Europe should prepare for a large-scale Russian aggression, comparing Russian President Vladimir Putin to Nazi Germany's leader Adolf Hitler. This was reported by Bloomberg.

The head of the German Defense Ministry said this during the presentation of a biographical book about former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

In particular, Pistorius emphasized that Putin will not stop in Ukraine.

"He has also said that clearly. Just as clearly as Hitler, who also always said he would not stop," he said.

In this regard, Pistorius once again emphasized the importance of strengthening the German Armed Forces against the background of a growing threat.

"We have to put this country back in a position where it can defend itself. We have to decide now whether we want to prepare for a real threat from Putin or whether we want to make it easy for him," the German Defense Minister said.
