Poles did not allow a single truck to cross into Poland at the blocked checkpoints during the day

Polish protesting farmers who are blocking three checkpoints on the state border between Ukraine and Poland have not allowed any trucks to cross into Poland over the past day. This was reported by a representative of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko.

In particular, Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska and Uhryniv remain blocked for freight traffic.

Thus, the protesters allow a very small number of trucks to leave Poland through the Yahodyn checkpoint, compared to 70 the day before, although the checkpoint itself is capable of passing about 1,400 trucks per day in both directions.

The Poles did not allow a single truck to cross into Ukraine through the Uhryniv checkpoint.

Demchenko noted that as of Tuesday morning, there were about 600 trucks in total queuing to enter Ukraine at the three blocked checkpoints in Poland.

At the same time, there are still queues at the previously unblocked Krakowiec and Shehyni checkpoints - 900 and 450 trucks, respectively. However, traffic both leaving and entering Ukraine has become more active.

At the same time, he added that cars and buses cross the border freely in both directions.
