Three more F-16s will arrive in Romania to train Ukrainian pilots

Three more F-16 fighters of the Royal Netherlands Air Force will arrive in Romania to train Ukrainian pilots. This was reported by the press service of the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

 

The ministry said that Romanian Minister of National Defense Angel Tilvar will hold a bilateral meeting with his Dutch counterpart Kajsa Ollongren on April 17 at the 86th Air Force Base "Lieutenant Aviator Gheorghe Motsornice" in Borcea.

 

"This event is connected with the arrival of three more F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, which will be made available to the European F-16 Training Center as part of pilot training programs for the operation of this type of fighter," the statement said.
