Britain has allocated more than $180 million to strengthen Ukraine's energy system

Great Britain has allocated nearly 150 million pounds (over $180 million) to strengthen Ukraine's energy sector. This was stated by the British Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Neil Holland, the press service of the British government reports.

"The UK is stepping up its efforts to support Ukraine and has allocated almost £150 million to strengthen Ukraine's energy sector. We continue to work with our G7+ partners to help Ukraine repair, protect and restore its energy system," he said.

According to Holland, the United Kingdom intends to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to defend itself and push Russia out of Ukraine's sovereign territory.

"This is the only way to a just and lasting peace," he emphasized.
