Former Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk has been appointed head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Defense Forces of the South. He told journalists about this himself.

On April 22, Pletenchuk took up his duties as the speaker of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Defense Forces of the South.

Before him, this position was held by Natalia Humeniuk. On April 19, the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South" was dismissed from post after journalists claimed that she had obstructed the coverage of Russian war crimes, did not allow to show the results of the flooding after the breakthrough of the Kakhovka HPP, and prohibited visiting any frontline territories that fall within the competence of the OC "South".
