Russians are modernizing their drones and implementing mobile communications in them, - 3rd Separate Assault Brigade

The Russian army is developing its drones and using mobile communications in them. This was stated by Vadym Mazevych, commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, during a telethon.

"The enemy does not stand still and also uses new tactics in anti-drone means. Today, the Russians have a large number of unmanned vehicles, combat vehicles, especially for defeating combat forces, and they are modernizing them. We have recently met them even on another technology, they use mobile communication," Mazevych said.

According to him, the Russians dominate in reconnaissance drones, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces dominate in attack drones.

In addition, the Russians have begun to actively use drone protection for their equipment. They began to put additional protection not only on tanks, which they cover with metal sheets, but also on armored vehicles.

A video of the Russian Armed Forces demonstrating an armored vehicle Z-STS Akhmat was published online. In the video, you can see a metal structure welded to the car cabin. A net is attached to the metal ribs, which covers the entire surface of the vehicle almost to the ground.
